NAB League: Blues stack up roster ahead of Swans Academy bout

The 9.30am match makes for an exciting prospect, according to Devils coach Cameron Joyce.

"It's a great opportunity for us over these next couple of weeks with the games we've been able to lock-in," he said.

The side's last match was a 13.12 (90) to 5.7 (37) stomping of the Northern Territory in Melbourne.

"We go into this week 2-1 with that one game against Calder that we lost by a point," Joyce said.

"We're going in with confidence, but at the same time we know the Swans Academy is a really good program."

As for the early start, Joyce wasn't concerned about the impact that would have on the boys.

"Our prep's reasonably set now ... I think the boys are good enough with that sort of stuff to make sure they give themselves the best chance," he said.

This weekend's Devils team will have its fair share of Blue pride, with seven Launceston players donning the island guernsey.
