One person has been injured in a house fire in East Devonport overnight.

A Tasmania Police spokesperson said shortly after midnight police and Tasmania Fire Service were called to a home in Stephen Street.
"An estimated $200,000 damage was caused to the residence, with damage was also caused to a neighbouring business," the spokesperson said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Two occupants were home at the time the blaze began. One sustained a minor injury to his hand as he left the property."
Tasmania Police would like to speak with anyone who has information regarding the fire or who observed anyone in the vicinity of Stephen Street at the time the fire started.
