I hope April is treating you well, with plenty of events to keep you busy.
In this week's newsletter I have highlighted the Anzac Day services which will run on Sunday. Each service has a list of who is able to attend due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The arts sector gets a big mention too. The Hobart Chamber Orchestra will be coming to Launceston, headed by the acclaimed Peter Tanfield.
The man-made and the natural beauty of Tasmania is celebrated in an exhibit currently on show at Scottsdale Art Gallery.
Folk singer Ruth Hazleton will bring her sweet sounds to the north of the state later this month to get her music career back on track, after COVID-19 put a bump in the road.
Design Tasmania is celebrating 45 years of being part of the community. To ensure the business stays around for another 45 years, a fundraiser event will be held - with details in the attached article.
If you would like to get in touch with me in regards to an arts or what's on story, please send an email to dana.anderson@examiner.com.au or call 0419 813 457.
Have an event-filled weekend.
Dana
