
As a three-time premiership player at North Launceston, Rhyan Mansell and his former captain Brad Cox-Goodyer have shared some good memories.
Debuting for Richmond on Friday night, Mansell became the second North Launceston player to play after being drafted through the supplemental selection period - following in Jay Lockhart's footsteps.
Speaking before his former teammate made the next step, Cox-Goodyer sang Mansell's praises.

"When I saw that video when he called his mum Jodie and his dad Brett ... it gave me a few chills," Cox-Goodyer said.
"[There's] no more deserving person than Rhyan, he went over [to Adelaide], he took the gamble and he did everything right and he gets his chance.
"For those guys to come out of our program really sets us up for guys coming through that know that we can set a platform for them if they want to go on to bigger and better things."
