A 43-year-old Launceston man has died after a car crash at Epping Forest on Saturday night.

Emergency services were called to the crash on the Midland Highway at Epping Forest shortly before 9pm on Saturday night.
LATEST UPDATE: Police detail lead-up to very tragic fatal collision
The man, who was on the road at the time, was struck by a car and died of his injuries at the scene.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident or who may have dash cam footage relating to the crash.
They are also seeking information regarding the driving behaviour of a silver BMW X5 prior to the crash.
