Northern Midlands mayor Mary Knowles to share her story at forum

The Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union forum, now in its fourth year, will celebrate the power of women in their workplaces - just in time for International Women's Day on March 8.

Cr Knowles is one of five speakers and said she was passionate about sharing her story and wanted to encourage others to get involved in their communities.

"I want to encourage communities to do things themselves, they don't have to wait for councils or governments," she said.
