
Family violence trial hears closing address
A jury in a Supreme Court trial of a man charged with persistent family violence heard a closing address from defence counsel Evan Hughes on Wednesday.
A 40-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to 10 occasions of physical and sexual violence against his 26-year-old partner between August and November 2019.
Crown prosecutor Emily Judd will sum up on Thursday along with Justice Robert Pearce.
