A Victorian woman has been sent back to her home state after allegedly failing to comply with quarantine in Tasmania.
The 38-year-old was arrested after an incident in quarantine at Peppers Seaport Hotel, and charged with failing to comply with the direction of the Director of Public Health.
Video footage shared on social media showed a woman leaving the hotel by climbing out a window on Sunday.
Marisha Charlesworth appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning, but did not enter a plea.
Police were expected to escort the woman to the airport on Tuesday afternoon.
She will appear again in the Launceston Magistrates Court, from Victoria, on March 30.
