Theatre North has divided the annual program for the theatre into three seasons, with the Autumn Season launched Friday night - running from March until mid May.
Theatre North programs manager Stuart Loone said the theatre was thrilled to offer a season of performance in 2021, albeit with a few changes.
"We look forward to welcoming northern audiences to a season that is entertaining, rich and deeply satisfying," he said.
"To keep things really simple in this challenging landscape, we're putting our traditional subscription model to one side, and are instead inviting people to become a Friend of Theatre North to access really terrific benefits when engaging with the Theatre North program."
