The staff at Riverside Primary School have recreated a viral Tiktok video set to Fleetwood Mac's Dreams to welcome students back for the 2021 school year.

Principal Jane Bovill said they made a welcome back video every year to help alleviate any anxiety that students might be feeling.
She said when kids saw their teachers having fun it helped them relax.

Mrs Bovill was the person who decided on recreating the viral Tiktok after seeing the trend online. The video became an instant sensation online after being shared on Twitter last year.
The video - which was originally posted by 420doggface208 - showed a man skating through the street while listening to Fleetwood Mac and drinking cranberry juice.
Tiktok - the birth place of most viral videos in the back half of 2020 - is a social media application which is popular with children and teenagers.
The platform is used to post a variety of videos - between three seconds and one minute long - in all genres including education, comedy and dance.
Mrs Bovill said the first day back was going fabulously and that the children loved the video.
She said the kids always loved to see their teachers having fun.
Students returned to Tasmanian schools today for the first day of Semester 1.
