New plans for the old Meander Primary School site are set to be explored, after the controversial drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre abandoned its plans for the proposed site earlier this year.
The Meander Valley Council will discuss a lease and community consultation options for the future use of the site on Tuesday, in the closed-section of the council meeting.
At this stage, the plans for the site are not publicly known and it is not known if a leasee has been secured.

Mayor Wayne Johnston said he could not discuss the matter beforehand, as it was to be discussed in the closed chambers, but after the meeting more details would be released.
"The council will be deciding a way forward," he said.
It comes after faith-based organisation Teen Challenge Tasmania abandoned its plans at the site to establish a rehab centre for women due to ongoing legal issues.
The proposed venture was given planning approvals to do so at the 137 Main Road site in 2016.

Before an appeal to the Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal by Meander timber supply business Timber World, against the council and Teen Challenge, unsuccessfully argued the rehab facility would be located in a bushfire-prone area.
However, the Supreme Court of Tasmania upheld an appeal against the RMPAT decision earlier this year. In august Teen Challenge opted to turn its back on the site and begin its search for a new one.
