This includes NBA and Boomers guard Matthew Dellavedova.
Dellavedova was a member of the 2016 NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers alongside Lebron James and Kyrie Irving.
JackJumpers chief executive Simon Brookhouse said landing someone like 'Delly' would be great for the emerging franchise.
"It would be remiss of us not look at players like Matthew Dellavedova and see what their plans are once they have finished in the NBA," Brookhouse said.
"He has previously indicated that he would consider looking at the NBL once his NBA career is over."

The former Milwaukee Buck and Cavalier will be a free agent this off-season, but his open fondness for Cleveland indicates a return to the team next year.
Brookhouse said he hoped the new NBL team would entice Aussie basketballers far and wide to come back to play for the JackJumpers.
"There are a lot of very good Australians playing college basketball in the US and we're already seeing some of those like Jack White who has come back to Australia to play for Melbourne United," he said.
"There's a lot of talent out there and we want to secure the best players we can so the JackJumpers can be a very competitive team from day one."
