Resident Chris Sach was honored to show Governor Warner his sensory board made especially for the Memory Support Unit during the visit.
During the peak of the pandemic restrictions, Governor Warner had gifted Glenara Lakes homemade shortbread and three boxes of flowers from her garden at Government House to recognise the hard work and dedication from both staff and residents.

Facility manager Louise Scambler said the gift was a ray of light for residents and staff, lifting everyone's spirits.
"We were so grateful to receive such a thoughtful gift and also the recognition of what both the residents and staff were going through during the height of the pandemic", she said.
Mrs Scambler said she extended the offer for Governor Warner to visit Glenara Lakes when it was safe to do so and was delighted when that was accepted.
