City Mission's social enterprise general manager Peter Freak said the new shop will include a large range of clothing, furniture, bric-a-brac, and collectables.
"Every shop has a bit of a unique character which we like but it will have those core lines," he said.
The new shop is part of a long-term plan to provide services in the area through the proceeds of the shop, and has been developed over the last 18 months.
Mr Freak said the shop provides an opportunity to have a presence in Georgetown and will bring a community hub feel.
He said it is also a chance to generate revenue that can be invested into other important services.
"We are looking to bring our children's services to town with the Inside Out 4 Kids program," he said.

Mr Freak said ongoing programs will be developed with the schools and council, and will keep the needs of the children in mind.
"We see that as a real need in the area and something we would love to respond to," he said.
City Mission CEO Stephen Brown said the new enterprise would generate funding for essential services and programs that were operating in the area.
"We continue to be grateful to the community for shopping with us, with every purchase making a difference."
City Mission is looking for volunteers to help in their shops across the state since the pandemic slashed volunteer numbers.
Joshua, a staff member at a City Mission store said he had always loved volunteering.
"I used to volunteer out at the café in the Youngtown shop. I very much enjoyed working out there as it was a very close-knit team and felt like a family," he said.
"The same goes for working here in the shop, everyone is so supportive, through the good and the bad."
Mr Freak said volunteering was good opportunity to give back to the community while building great skills and experience to include on a resume. It also gives people a place to go and feel like they belong in.

The new shop will be located at 12-16 Sorell Street George Town and will open its doors in November.
