Nick was forced to make the fateful decision on Sunday night's episode.
The episode started with Nick meeting the friends of his two remaining love interests: Liz from Brisbane, and Naomi from Sydney.
Naomi's friends put him under the spotlight, questioning whether he was "here for the right reason".
His decision to take Liz on the last date despite promising a kiss for Naomi also didn't go down well with Naomi's friends.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"I only have the best intentions for your friend," Nick convincingly told Naomi's friends.
He then went to Brisbane to meet Liz's best friends, who Nick described as "three giant dudes".
Their friendship blossomed immediately in the series, but were they too similar to each other to make it work? Liz is a marriage celebrant while Nick runs a vineyard north of Launceston.
"I have two amazing women to choose from and provided it all goes well, one of them might become my wife," Nick said.
Heartbreaking decision
Nick gushed to Naomi about her beauty and how she "makes me want to become a better person".
It all seemed to be going so well until Nick suddenly told her: "I've chosen Liz".
Naomi said she was "surprised" at the decision, and "I didn't think I would get hurt in this process but, yeah, I might be a little bit hurt".
Nick then seemed to lead Liz down the wrong path, stating he didn't want to come on the show to meet a friend, but that's what happened.
So it was somewhat surprising when he told her that, yes, she was the one.
"You really are like a beautiful, beautiful angel," Nick told Liz.
"I'd like you to be my lady, if you'll have me."
Yes, she would have him.
