The former Evandale Eagle was offered a two-week suspension for high contact on North Melbourne AFLW player Daria Bannister, but the charge was reduced to a one-match ban with an early plea.
Broad will miss the Bombers' round three, August 1 clash with Clarence, with her side dealt the bye this weekend.

Launceston captain Jobi Harper also had a run-in with the panel, charged with making careless contact with an umpire and offered a one-week ban but thanks to an early plea, he will be available to face the Tigers.
Glenorchy young gun Ryan Banks-Smith wasn't so lucky, with the 2019 Tasmania Devils representative rubbed out for three weeks following high contact that was ruled intentional and high impact on Lauderdale's Mitch Anderton.
Similar to Broad and Harper, Banks-Smith was able to have his original charge of four weeks downgraded thanks to an early plea following the incident.
