The body of a fisherman has been found off the north coast of Maria Island after a search operation this afternoon.
The man, in his 60s, had left Triabunna to go crayfishing on Sunday morning, but a commercial fisherman spotted the man's boat drifting with no one on board about 3pm.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter and police marine and rescue resources were sent to the area, while recreational and commercial vessels also assisted in the search.
The man's body was found about 4pm.
Inspector Gavin Hallett said it was a tragic situation.
"This is a tragedy for the man's family and our thoughts are with them at this time," he said.
"Police would like to thank the fisherman who assisted with the search this afternoon."
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
