The development application to the Meander Valley Council is proposing a butcher shop and cafe at 42A Pioneer Drive, Mole Creek.
The planned $360,000 cafe and butcher will stock the meat from the proposed private abattoir at Lot 3 Den Road, Mole Creek, with anticipated deliveries once or twice a week.
The abattoir was part of a separate development application lodged in April and is awaiting approval.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The cafe will be able to host up to 20 patrons and is proposed to be open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm.
It will feature 13 space car park at the entrance of the property, with the cafe and butcher behind.
A field survey found that there were no karst features or active sinkholes within 60 metres of the area proposed for the cafe and butcher.
Waste water from the amenities and kitchen will be treated and then irrigated onto the vacant northern area of the site.
The application is available for public comment until July 6 and can be viewed on the council's website.
