With a decision yet to be made on the TSL's season outlook, NTFA president Scott Rigby said that it's in the works for the league's players to link up with State League clubs if the shoe fits.
"We've worked out a system with AFL Tas and our colleagues around the state that may enable that to occur in a nice orderly fashion regarding player transfers," Rigby said.

As the NTFA's Southern counterpart, the SFL, aim to start their women's season on July 18 and men's competition the following week, AFL Tasmania confirmed the talks of player transfer from community to state leagues have occurred.
"We are working through a statewide approach to this matter with leagues and associations and will have further detail to share in the coming days," a spokesperson said.
AFL Tasmania also announced on Friday that, in line with the state government's easing of restrictions, clubs will be able to hold training sessions in larger groups.
Senior sides will now be able to train in two groups of 20, while juniors can be split into three groups of 20 on the same oval.
For assistance in maintaining groups of 20 in line with the restrictions, clubs are encouraged to download TeamApp and use the supplied tracker, with a webinar to be held next week.
