A 32-year-old woman has been left with life-threatening injuries after she was hit by a car on Monday morning.

A blue Subaru Forester wagon travelling south on High Street collided with the woman, who was a pedestrian, at about 9am.
Emergency services attended the scene and the South Launceston woman was taken to the Launceston General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The 72-year-old male driver of the Subaru, also from South Launceston, was not physically injured in the crash.
High Street was closed between Ann Street and Balfour Street for 1.5 hours before it was reopened.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has any information that may assist their enquiries.
