The Spirit of Tasmania will continue operating daily Bass Strait trips as normal in the wake of the coronavirus outcome.
A post of the companies website said they are following the best advice of the Federal Health Department to ensure their response to the outbreak is appropriate.

The ban on gatherings of more than 500 people imposed on Friday does not extend to workplaces, schools, universities, supermarkets, public transport and airports.
In the post TT-Line said it will continue to act of the Health Department advice if or when it changes.
"We note in the most recent advice from the department regarding COVID-19 that while non-essential gatherings should be limited to 500 people, this does not include workplaces, schools, universities, shops, supermarkets, public transport and airports," the post reads.
"TT-Line will act on the advice of the Department of Health if and when its direction change."
