A seven-year-old boy who was left with critical injuries after a boating incident at Prosser River has died.
Archie James Green, from Hobart, was thrown from a sea biscuit onto the shore about 2pm Sunday afternoon.
He was treated at scene before being airlifted by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to Royal Hobart Hospital, but later died.

Tasmania Police released the child's name on Tuesday afternoon, with permission from his family.
"Our thoughts are with Archie's family and loved ones at this difficult time," they said.
Investigations into the incident continue and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
