A seven-year-old boy is in a critical condition after being thrown from a water ski tube at Prosser River on Sunday.
Tasmania Police and Ambulance Tasmania teams responded to the incident about 2pm.
Police say a 43-year-old man operating a boat towing a ski-biscuit lost control causing the occupant, a seven-year-old boy, to be thrown onto shore.
He was treated at the scene before being airlifted via the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition.
