The Examiner's annual Fashions on the Field is also shaping up to be just a competitive as the polo-action unfolding on the turf.
Whittner Shoes chief executive Catherine Williamson has given her advice to all those would-be fashion icons ahead of the day.
"For shoes, wedges and espadrilles or some glam flats are the go for women, don't go near heels. For men, a classic boater or loafer," she said.
For clothing, Ms Williamson recommended clean whites, neutral colours or pastels and navy as well as natural fabrics such as linens and silks.
"Then I think because it's a bit of fun and the height of summer that you could even see some bold prints... for a bit of fun to enjoy summer and enjoy the event," she said.
Prizes for this year's Fashions on the Field include a golf day at Barnbougle Lost Farm for four people valued at $500 for the men's winner, and an overnight stay and vitality spa passes for two at the Barnbougle Spa valued at $450 for the women's winner.
