The nine-piece soul band has been together for five years, playing gigs across Tasmania.
Bad Dad drummer Luke Young said the group was very excited to be playing at BeerFest again.
"One of our first gigs was at one of the first BeerFests outside of Boags so it's good to be back," he said.

As well as the Bad Dads, popular electronic trio Art vs. Science will be performing at the event, accompanied by a plethora of local food and beverage producers for revellers to enjoy.
"New Years Eve should be a grand spectacle on the river with the fireworks, we're playing just after midnight too which should be great," Young said.
