Noah Neptune Weiss-Trew is wanted in relation to an alleged assault and evading police.
The Christmas Day incident happened on the Huon Highway at Glendevie.
Police would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen or have dash cam footage of an Aqua Blue 1999 Suzuki R Wagon being driven on the Huon Highway in the area of Glendevie or Dover on Wednesday, about 12:30pm.
Tasmania Police said the driver allegedly reversed into a police officer during a routine traffic operation.

As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver, in an alleged deliberate action, reversed suddenly and struck the constable, knocking him, and the unmarked police motorcycle to the ground.
The driver then moved forward and suddenly reversed again, hitting the officer for a second time, police said.
The driver then fled the scene.
A female passenger was also in the vehicle.
Tasmania Police Inspector Kathy Bennett said the vehicle was found a short time after the incident and understands it was displaying false plates.
Inspector Bennett said police have some specific information and a number of searches were conducted.
Tasmania Police said the officer went to hospital and had been left "quite shaken" by the incident and will return to work next week.
