According to a TFS spokesperson, fire services from three brigades responded to the incident which was on Illawarra Road.
The fire was deliberately lit by the landowner who was demolishing their old shed, according to the spokesperson.
The spokesperson said TFS received no warning or notification of the fire being lit beforehand, which resulted in emergency crews being dispatched.

The fire was under control within an hour, no injuries were reported.
The spokesperson said the landowner was warned to notify the correct authorities next time before conducting a controlled burn.
