Three representations against the proposal were received by the council.
Concerns about the subdivision being "not in keeping" with surrounding properties, noise, visual impacts, flooding, access points, air control, and property set backs were just of the issues raised.
The site is located on Haggerston Road, which was formerly known as the Midland Highway, near the Devon Hills turn off. It is currently a horse training track and has some stable onsite.
