Fork It Farm owners Daniel and Kim Croker have only had the facility - which cost more than $180,000 to build - up and running for six weeks but they're already excited about the opportunities it presents.
Mr Croker said he and Kim were still figuring their way around all the production processes they need to familiarise themselves with, as they're used to contracting butchers to handle this aspect of the business.

"We built the processing facility so we had more control over our whole processing side of things," he said.
"It gives us more quality control and abilities to introduce new product lines ... as well as [the ability to] control the prices a lot more.
"We can then source all the ingredients we want to use as well - we obviously try to use as many local ingredients as we can."
Mr Croker said Fork It Farm grew its own garlic and herbs to go into sausages and other products.
"We source from other local farmers that we know [too]," he said.
"We look to use [the facility] in the future to offer other local farmers the ability for either me to butcher and process for them or actually make certain value-added products for them."
