A public Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works will be held.
The approval of the works on the highway between Legana and the Batman Highway to improve safety for all road users, cater for future development in the region, and to reduce travel times to and from Launceston will be discussed.

Committee chairman MLC Rob Valentine said the hearing process places members of parliament in direct contact with the public to hear their views, and site inspections.
"The Public Works Committee process places Members of Parliament in direct contact with the public and enables them to canvas a wide range of views through public hearings and site inspections," he said.
"The committee welcomes public input into this project and invites interested individuals or organisations to attend the public hearing."
A site inspection will start at the Exeter West Tamar Council at 11.15am. The public hearing will be held at 1.30pm at Henty House.
