Without an NPL Tasmania match this weekend, Olympic reintroduced their English import in the Northern Championship and he was soon on the scoresheet at Devonport.
A collision with the keeper left both on the ground but as teammates appealed for a penalty, Wademan hooked the loose ball into the empty net.
That was as good as it got for the visitors as Strikers hit back through a Charles Bidwell penalty and then claimed a 2-1 win courtesy of Addison Tu's late winner.
But Wademan said he was glad to be back in his second home.
"It's something I've been wanting to do for five years," said the Yorkshireman, who had a popular spell at Windsor Park in 2014.
"I enjoyed my time here, made lots of friends so it's good to come back and help the team.
"I think the NPL will be tough. I've watched a few games and they do play good football."
Launceston United jumped on Olympic's loss by leap-frogging them into third with an 8-0 defeat of neighbours Launceston City.
A sixth straight win featured hat-tricks for Fahim Moradi and Chris Pickering plus Yasin Mohammadi and a Sam Lowe penalty which left coach Glenn Reading a happy man.
"A solid game," he said. "The teamwork and effort of all the players is paying off with some good results."
Ladder-leading Northern Rangers dropped points for the second week running but maintained their unbeaten record with a 2-2 draw against Somerset.
In NPL Tasmania, Devonport strengthened their hopes of retaining their title with a 5-2 win at Glenorchy.
Callum Brown twice gave the hosts first-half leads but Max Fitzgerald, Joel Stone and Miles Barnard had the visitors ahead by the break before Barnard and Eddie Bidwell wrapped up the points late on.
South Hobart inflicted a 6-1 win on struggling Clarence, with doubles from Bradley Lakoseljac and Ben Hamlett plus singles to Nick Morton and Samson Juju.
