On Tuesday, The Fellas performed Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons' Let's Hang On with the adjudicator scoring them a perfect score.
The group, which currently has eight members, was down two during the performance, which group member Cody Sparkes said made the performance challenging.
"It was a bit harder to do, but we still managed to do it well," he said.
"We got the Adjudicator's Choice, so we're going back to perform for them on Friday after the awards. That's a bit of an honour. Out of all the singing groups, we got chosen."

While The Fellas were the only group in their section, receiving a perfect score is almost unheard of, they said.
"That means to [the adjudicator] it was flawless and there was nothing that we could fix and she gave us a couple of nice comments ... and she went on to say how she used to work for Frankie Valli," Cody said.
"It was a big confidence boost because we lost so much talent last year."
Nearly 90 per cent of the group graduated in 2018.
The school's headmaster Richard Ford said he loved seeing the boys perform.
"It has been exciting to see new students come into The Fellas and continuing the tradition of singing for both boys and girls at Grammar," he said. "Each year we lose great talent, but there is also great talent coming through the school."
