A program that works with disadvantaged or disengaged youth will soon be back on track after 10 mountain bikes were stolen last year.

Launceston Police and Community Youth Club used the bikes for its Youth at Risk program.
But, two local businesses have come on board to get the program up and running again.
Harcourts Foundation donated $4000, with Avanti Plus bike store essentially donating the other half to get the program 12 new bikes.

Club manager Bec Reedman said the robbery had stopped the program from being able to operate.
"It's just going to be fantastic and we're going to be able to start looking at putting [mountain biking] back into our programs," she said.
Harcourt's property consultant David Hernyk, and Avanti Plus owner Ben Mather both said when they heard the bikes had been stolen that they were willing to help if they could.
