"A great day to be a Ranger," was coach Rod Fulton's summary as the hosts won all four of their games at the NTCA Ground, culminating in the victory that puts them six points clear at the top.
Ruthless finishing saw Rob Gerrard collect another brace, along with Joe McCormack after a pre-match 5km warm-up run.
Further goals came from Wes Chugg, Jesse Fulton, Tom Burk and an own goal.
Riverside joined Devonport on 19 points after picking up their fifth win in six games with a 2-0 defeat of Launceston City.
Mitch Roberts curled in a free-kick soon after the break before Josh Taylor resumed tap-in responsibilities with a close-range second.
"Second half we pulled our finger out, came to play and it was just a matter of time," said coach Andy Hall.
Launceston United recorded a fourth straight win to stay in contention, returning from Burnie with a 3-0 success.
Yasin Mohammadi bagged a first-half double and when veteran Chris Pickering's body finally started to show its age, Aidan Rigby came off the bench to complete the scoring.
"Always good to get a win at Burnie," said coach Glenn Reading.
"It was a hard-fought physical game and the boys played well and deserved the win."
