Seymour played a pivotal role in the Blues' confidence-boosting 26-point win at Glenorchy.
His three votes catapults him up alongside Lauderdale's Sam Siggins in the standings.
Having made his TSL debut with Clarence last season, former Australian under-19 cricketer Seymour is enjoying filling the void left by departed midfielders Sam Lonergan, Sam Rundle and Chayce Jones at Windsor Park.
Seymour also played in three NTFA premierships with Old Scotch.
Another familiar name continues to dominate proceedings on the opposite bank of the Tamar with player-coach Taylor Whitford scooping the three votes in North Launceston's 82-point thrashing of Clarence at Bellerive Oval.
On a day when three of his teammates bagged four goals, Whitford's double combined with his trademark efficiency and leadership saw him judged best on ground.
Bart McCulloch was among the major goal-kickers to earn one vote as teammate Arion Richter-Salter earned two.
