Tulloch's Summer Classic Conveyance Week
A seven-day event running February 3 – 8, culminating in a national online auction, Tulloch’s Auctions are celebrating all forms of classic transport: cars, motorcycles, boats, trains, aircraft, and bicycles, with Tasmanian survivor cars, classics, projects, advertising signs, ‘garagenalia’, badges, mascots, vintage parts, books and manuals, and more. Early entries include the best condition lowest kilometre Ford XB Fairmont Coupe in captivity, a collection of rare early high performance HSVs recently discovered and unearthed from long term storage and a selection of early RACT membership mascots from the 1920s and 1930s. Outdoor Lifestyle Expo
Launceston’s inaugural Outdoor Lifestyle Expo is bringing the best of the great outdoors to the Showgrounds, February 1 – 3. Including food vans there will be over 70 exhibitors in total, hawking everything from fire pots and metal detectors to spas and barbecues. There will also be children’s activities, such as the Royal Flying Doctor Service flight simulator, reptile awareness with live snakes, and a tram. For adults, Youngtown Rotary will be running a a hole-in-one competition, and a fly-fishing casting competition. Admission costs $10, children under 15 free.

Festivale Masterclasses
Northern Tasmania’s premiere food and drink event will be running this weekend, February 1 – 3, in City Park. Along with stallholders and entertainment, there will also be eight one-hour cooking demonstrations with expert chefs running throughout. They will all share their culinary secrets and experiences, inspiring you to try something new at home with TheTasmanian Food Co's local produce. The recipes will be available at each session. Where to see the Superbowl
The biggest sporting event of the year for the biggest headline-grabbing country in the world, the Superbowl will be playing around Launceston on Monday. See it at Sporties on every screen from 9am, with breakfast parmis and $5 schooners, or at the Country Club from 10.30am.

World Wetlands Day
The Tamar Island Wetlands Centre, Riverside, will be hosting a range of free wetlands-related learning experiences this Saturday, February 2, from 9:30am to 2pm. There will be snakes on display, an interactive game, bird watching and identification, art on the deck, kite making, and a sausage sizzle.
