The bride, a former Miss Australia, wore a traditional white gown and veil, and was attended by a wedding party comprising matron and man of honour, three bridesmaids and five flowergirls, including daughter Lily, 8.
The new Mrs Palmer was walked down the aisle by son Henry, 9, while Mr Palmer was accompanied by four groomsmen.
Watching as the couple happily posed for the throng of waiting media and well-wishers outside the church, guests Danny Gibson and Jane Anderson described the ceremony as traditional, but relaxed.
"It was all about Jo and Andrew," Ms Anderson said.
"She looks absolutely stunning - like a princess," Mr Gibson said.

"She looks beautiful," Emma said as the jovial party passed by.
Mr and Mrs Palmer will honeymoon in Queensland.
