But an anonymous artist of sorts is leaving their mark all around the city, in the form of tiny doors.
Barratts Music took to social media on Saturday, after staff noticed a small door had been made outside the George Street shop.
“Launceston is full of cool, interesting people,” the post read.
“I walked down George Street, Monday morning and found we had a new door into the shop. Love it.”
More tiny doors have since been located around the city.
The Examiner has been able to track down doors at the Commonwealth Bank on Brisbane Street, Whats New in the mall, The Examiner’s former office building on Paterson Street, and at the front of the town clock on the corner of St John and Cameron streets.
However it is still unclear who is responsible for the quirky creations.
A spokeswoman for the Junction Arts Festival confirmed the tiny doors were not part of the 2018 program, despite numerous tags on social media suggesting otherwise.
“They are definitely not a part of junction,” the spokeswoman said.
“We have had a number of inquiries, but its definitely not us.”
