An investigation was launched after complaints were made by the organisation to police last year.
A 60-year-old Seven Mile Beach has since been charged with dishonestly acquiring a financial advantage.
The man was arrested and charged on July 23 and bailed to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on September 10.
