After suffering a 63-point defeat to the Northern Hawks on Saturday, OHA again struggled to score – losing 74-27. The hosts broke out to a seven-goal advantage at quarter time before pilling on 18 goals to OHA’s seven in the second term to lead 43-16 at the main break.
Early on player of the match Isabella Maskell was sensational in defence along with Tessa Coote, Shelby Miller controlled centre court and Deanna Wadley and Megan Harper were unstoppable in attack.
Several changes were made for the third stanza with Brie Rattray and Kate Gibson going in the shooting circle, but the Cavs pressure continued with the margin blowing out to 34 goals with a quarter to play.
The match was never in doubt as Lace McHugh was given some senior experience in the final term.
