The session is part of the Tasmania Police Recruitment Roadshow and will be held at Launceston College on Wednesday night.
Sergeant Simon Clayton from Tasmania Police Recruiting Services said although the RSVP date had passed, anyone interested in attending could still get in touch.
“We have had a large number of registrations for our session in Launceston, but we will accept late RSVPs,” he said.
“Now is a great time to consider joining Tasmania Police, we are actively recruiting people for courses in 2019.
“There are scheduled courses for 2020 and 2012, but the dates have not been finalised as yet.”
Sergeant Clayton said the sessions were targeted at everyone from students to adults.
“If you are looking for a change in careers, or seeking a more rewarding and challenging career go along and find out what you can achieve,” he said.
“In order for us as an organisation to achieve effective policing within the community, we must be an equal opportunity employer and we must be representative of the community we serve.
“Tasmania Police is committed to recruiting people who are able to provide effective policing services to the community of Tasmania.”
Sessions are also being held in Burnie and Devonport this week and a session was held in Hobart last week.
