Junction creative director Greg Clarke said the September festival celebrates and shines a spotlight on what makes Launceston and the North so special.
“Junction Arts Festival truly is an authentic destination festival in which visitors are guaranteed a fully immersive and intimate Tasmanian experience like no other,” he said.
A new addition to this year’s program is the Tamar Valley Feast.
Inspired by the success of last year’s inaugural Tamar Valley Taste Trip, the feast will bring together Tasmanian food and wine with “weird and wonderful” pop-up performances.
Feast guests will be treated to the culinary wizardry of Hubert & Dan while they take in the sunset and sip on award-winning Tasmanian wines at the Tamar Ridge Cellar Door.
