The group was one of four applicants to receive funding under the Food Innovation Australia Limited cluster program.

Fermentation Tasmania will receive $840,000 from FIAL over three years “to transform the future of the Australian agrifood economy through fermentation technologies.”
The successful applicants were announced by Assistant Minister for Science Zed Seselja at the TCI Oceania Cluster Conference on June 6.
This first-of-its-kind initiative offers matched funding to support new and existing clusters. The program has been well received by industry, with 30 high quality submissions received from across Australia.
