Developer Errol Stewart said it was very fulfilling to see the hotel complete.
“I am proud of what we have delivered, and I believe that this building will now become iconic for Launceston,” he said.
The precinct offers 108 rooms, day spa, hairdresser, gym, a restaurant, private dining rooms, a bar and cafe.
“This project has had its challenges, but I am immensely proud of the product we have created, and I hope this project goes on to benefit the community and the environment for generations to come,” Mr Stewart said.
JMC Property Group employed 37 full-time workers during the build and utilised the services of about 180 contractors.
About 1000 people are expected to attend the official VIP launch on Friday night.
