The deputy chief of staff to Premier Will Hodgman, Brad Nowland, is returning to work for the Treasurer.
Mr Hodgman confirmed the move to the media on Thursday.
“From time to time there are movements in parliamentarian’s offices and ministerial offices and that’s what is occurring now,” he said.
“Brad Nowland will continue to be an important part of the team.”
Mr Hodgman recently appointed senior public servant Tim Baker as his chief of staff replacing Brad Stansfield.
Mr Nowland will be the Treasurer Peter Gutwein’s deputy chief of staff.
