Alice’s Adventures Underground features the author telling some familiar stories to his niece, Alice, and bringing to life the Mad Hatter, Red Queen, Cheshire Cat, and Walrus in the process.
Hamley Productions is behind the show, which is being directed by Andrew Casey.
There may only be five actors in the production, but Casey said there was never any shortage of action.
“It’s a very physical performance,” he said.
“Of the five actors, three of them play between six and characters throughout the 90 minutes.
“Alice is the only character which remains the same.”
Alice’s Adventures Underground will open at the Earl Arts Centre on Thursday, May 3, and run until May 5.
