A proposed tyre recycling plant at Mowbray will go before the City of Launceston council on Monday for a final decision.
The plan includes the construction of a shed and recycling facility and continued storage of tyres at the Cavalry Road site.
After receiving the tick of approval from the Environmental Protection Agency in February, the final requirement for the development to go ahead is approval from the council.
The council agenda recommends the application be approved under certain conditions, including the need for an amended plan for parking and circulation.
Aldermen will vote on the application on Monday .
