Spirit of Tasmania is now the naming rights sponsor of the event.
A special training program has also been created to help participants prepare for the popular 10 kilometre race.
The free program offers three options – beginner, intermediate or advanced.
The programs were designed by one of Australia’s best marathon runners, Vlad Shatrov.
A five kilometre program will also be released at a later date.
The Running Festival also includes a special village to be set up in City Park on June 2-3.
On the Saturday, entrants can collect their race packs and enjoy some local food, wine and craft beer as well entertainment.
A free Kids Clinic will also be held on Saturday from midday at the park. Children will have the chance to train with elite runners entered in the Launceston Ten.
The Running Festival races will be held on Sunday, June 3.
Events include Camp Quality’s kids two kilometre, the Running Edge five kilometre and the 10 kilometre.
All three races start and finish at City Park.
