On Saturday, an evening soiree featuring renowned mezzo-soprano Shelley Hayton will be held at Perth property ‘Woodhall’.
The estate dates back to the 1830’s and Clarendon volunteer Jennie Staal said it was the perfect setting for an afternoon soiree.
“The Clarendon clock restoration is a very important fundraiser as these unique clocks are in dire need of an overhaul by a professional clockmaker,” she said.
The clocks form part of an extensive collection of antique furniture and decorative pieces that fill the rooms of the Evandale homestead.
It will cost about $7500 to repair all seven – some older than the house itself.
