Police are investigating two incidents at separate takeaway outlets in Hobart.

The first was at the Subway Restaurant in Harrington Street, Hobart, about 2.50pm on Saturday, December 2.
Police said a sum of cash was stolen but no one was injured during the course of the incident and investigations are continuing.
Police encourage any witnesses who may have observed suspicious activity in the immediate vicinity around the time of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Information can be provided anonymously.
The second incident, which police have not indicated is related, occurred at the KFC at Derwent Park on Saturday about 10pm.
Police said a man threatened staff with violence and left the store with a quantity of cash.

He is described as being mid 40s, approximately 179cm, solid build, short goatee style beard, light brown short hair and wearing blue jeans, black cap and a black t shirt.
There were no weapons involved in the incident and no-one was injured.
Police said a man who matched the alleged offender’s description, was located nearby and assisted police with inquires, however he was released without charge.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen a male matching the description during the evening of Saturday, December 2 to contact Crimestoppers or Tasmania Police on 131444.
